Mastering the Daily Word Puzzle

MagikWord's Wordle Solver is your definitive companion for tackling the internet's favorite daily 5-letter word game. Our tool is meticulously designed to process your exact in-game feedback—green (correct letter, correct spot), yellow (correct letter, wrong spot), and gray (incorrect letter)—and instantly filter down the remaining possibilities.

To use the solver, simply mirror your game board. Place your known green letters into the exact positional boxes at the top. Then, drop any yellow letters you've discovered into the 'Yellow letters' field, and toss all your eliminated gray letters into the 'Gray letters' field. Hit Find Words, and our engine will cross-reference your clues against the official dictionary to present you with a curated list of potential answers.

We intentionally sort the results to prioritize common, recognizable words—which are far more likely to be the actual daily answer—over obscure dictionary entries, saving your streak when it matters most.

Also try our Word Unscrambler to find all words from a set of letters, or the Anagram Solver to rearrange letters into valid English words.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does a Wordle solver work?
A Wordle solver applies the colour feedback from your guesses as constraints to a 5-letter word list. Green letters are fixed in their position, yellow letters are in the word but not at that spot, and gray letters are absent. The solver filters out every word that violates any constraint, showing you what could still be the answer.
How do I enter my guesses into this solver?
Fill in the green row with any letters you got in the correct spot (one per box, leave blanks where you have no green). Type your yellow letters — letters that are in the word but in the wrong spot — into the yellow field. Type your gray letters — letters confirmed not in the word — into the gray field. Then press Find Words.
Why does a gray letter still show up in some answers?
It does not. If a letter is marked gray but the same letter is also marked green or yellow elsewhere, the solver keeps it — this correctly handles words with repeated letters, which is the most common Wordle-solver bug. A gray letter is only treated as truly absent when it is not also confirmed green or yellow.
Is using a Wordle solver cheating?
That depends on your personal goal. If you play for the challenge of solving it yourself, a solver removes that challenge. Many people use it to learn from the puzzle afterward, to rescue a streak when they are running out of guesses, or to understand how constraint-based word filtering works.
Why is the answer not in your results?
Double-check that every colour matches the feedback you received — a single wrong entry will filter out the correct answer. Make sure green letters are in the right position box, and remember that a letter can be both green (in one spot) and yellow (another occurrence) for words with repeated letters.
